That may have been what the blog author meant to say, but evidently you and I read something a little more sinister into how he wrote that section.

The blog author, I believe, wsaa trying to qualify the difference between Mike getting set-up/cold-decked (in the modern, non-cheating-connotative sense of the world) by having his KK run into AA as opposed to "Mike Matusow got bad beat to take 9th in the 2005 WSOP" aka a "reinvention of history."
