Default Quick Question: This is a shove right?

Final Two Tables of the $10-1 rebuy, 1 addon. Half the field is shortstacked and it's becoming a push fest. In the middle of field about 11/18.

It's close, and a shove I never used to make, but I think it is a shove.

I wouldn't shove it, I would make it 24k to go. Make it a shove for them or a quick fold. If they shove that much, they will be doing so already under the assumption that you are committed to call the reraise, and you can fold.

And how much would you bet and what do you do if one the blinds shoves?

Lol...Sorry, hit the send button on accident. Further explanation to my edited post above is that the raise is proportionate to the SB/BB stacks, and you are virtually commited either way.

Yeah, a raise to t20k isn't horrible here. Snapcall the shove tho if it comes, take the blinds otherwise. Makes it look like an action raise. they won't push back light, and you'll race a lot of middle pairs, flip Broadways and almost Broadways.

Don't mind action so much with A8o. You shove, their calling range narrows, so, yeah.

Flatcall would be brutal tho, esp if they chk in the dark, but [censored] it, shove over that.

Playin' for top 3, you gotta juice some pots, this is a good spot for it. they don't call/raise your Button raise, you weren't getting a chip outta 'em anyway.

A8o is mighty thin for a shove, You probably want A9o or so to withstand a calling range better. A few points, but it matters.

I decided to shove here, I didn't really like what I had left after a ~20k raise. If I did decide to raise, I would call a push. There's enough chips in the pot /w the antes I think it was worth it to push and see all the cards. A8 is probably the widest part of my range that I would push here.

P.S. ended up busting Kings and chip chopped 4 handed a few hours later. Holla
