i'm new to 6max...villain is aggressive but played a passive line, i'm sure this is standard just gotta check; do you see a river raise here?

I don’t know what’s your table image here, but usually when it’s folded to the button, he will raise with variety of hands. So wouldn’t aggressive villain reraise you preflop if he had better A than yours?

I would have reraised the flop, otherwise I would have played just like you did. But then again, why is he raising so little? I can understand small bets on the flop and turn if he flopped a big hand, but why bet so little also on the river when you are most likely willing to call also bigger bet according to the action on the turn? I would have also just called the river, but I think that we are both just big sissies and we should have reraised the river.

I think he's clearly trying to price himself in if he's on a draw, or trying to get to showdown as cheaply as possibly with mini-blocking bets. I hate playing passively, but I probably call this all the way down also.

I hate passive poker, but I think this hand is a good candidate for playing passively. Did he luckbox into a wheel?

i think this was my mistake. i feel that my turn raise was really good, it should have made him drop his draws (if he had any) but if i raised the flop he would either fold or float, where my 2/3 turn bet would probably have made him drop.

either way, oddly enough, his hand was AxQx don't remember suits...weird huh??
