[ QUOTE ]
So should FW its silly to play 20/40 with all nickels its tiring wathcing old nits try to count out eight or sixteen nickels at a time lol.

It may be mildly annoying, but there is an important counterpoint: more chips is better for the action. This is also why $5-$10 is generally one of the tightest limits in the cardrooms. More chips makes much bigger-looking pots; fewer chips make the pots look anemic and the action tightens up accordingly. $20-$40 is generally better action than $10-$20: there are more chips in the pots and on the table. It may not make a difference to how *you* play if you keep track of pot sizes mentally, but many of your opponents do not do that. More chips in action creates more of a gambling atmosphere in a limit poker game. Illusion becomes reality and a limit game with smaller size chips in action for the limit just generally has considerably more betting action as well.
