Why do people think 4 is some "absolutely disgusting" number of days to go without showering? I thought in some countries they shower weekly or so? Sure, they probably stink more, but it's not like maggots start coming out of your pores after 5 days.

Seriously, IMO it is borderline OCD to take a shower everyday unless you are a athlete or very active. You surely have OCD if you take more than one shower a day and you are not an athlete. If I'm not dirty and I don't smell than I don't need a shower.

To answer the OP, 6 or 7 days.

i shower every morning as part of my routine, unless i am going to work out in which case i shower as soon as i'm done. i've definitely had days (either work and working out plus the morning shower, or in high school when i was working out like 3 times a day for wrestling) with more than 2 showers

There was a period of time in high school where I was showering 3 times a day, maybe 4 if I couldn't sleep. Once when I wake up, again after gym (where i would be cutting weight for wrestling, so i'd manage to get pretty nasty in 1/2 hour), after practice so i wouldn't get any kind of skin diseases, and maybe again at home if i couldn't sleep to try and combat that.

Usually its about every 2-3 days depending on what I have to do.

If I have some really dirty [censored] I'll schedule one for the near future though.

In all honesty since 8th grade I have been showering every single day and I don't believe I have gone longer than 1 day without a shower yet. Without showering in the morning I feel absolutely disgusting, and showering is the first thing I do. I don't even have breakfast or do anything before I shower.

I'm not a morning person and I hate coffee so a hot shower and a 32 oz soda at QT is mandatory to wake me up. I guess I consider myself lucky in that aspect otherwise I could go multiple days without showering. In fact I know that would happen because I have had streaks where I don't brush my teeth, and/or I'll sleep in my contacts a lot. Thank God for gum and eye drops!

If I don't shower in the morning I feel like my skin is crawling, and no matter how much sleep I've had, I will be tired all day.
