I have been playing my standard game, running at around 24/17. I have no real read on villain, but over the course of about 15 minutes at the table, have not seen anything crazy from him. Seems to be pretty tight/quiet.

If he's quiet I don't think your getting much value out of him by checking the turn behind, I'd just bet the turn.

Just bet dude. Call a push, esp since he's pretty short.

If he's not aggro there's no reason to check to induce a river bluff.

i'd bet the turn for about 2/3-3/4s pot and fold to a raise, and would probably check behind on the river or call a smallish bet.

I would call because your lame bet possibly induced a bluff raise from a draw. and he's short

I take offense to the lame bet comment [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Anyway, I bet half the pot here because I figured if he's behind, hes pretty much drawing dead (two pair or queen or ace lower kicker), and if he calls 10 hes gonna have 30 left in a pot of 40 by the river, so I can push then.

Pretty much drawing dead? I could see JTs playing this hand this way, and pushing the turn when you showed weakness. You are either way behind, or just slightly ahead here, I think.
