I'm not one for conspiracies, but this seems like one. I wouldn't be surprised if someone polled the voters and then they semi-agreed on Morneau.

I'm a Twins fan and I think this is a joke. If someone came up to me yesterday and told me Morneau would win MVP I would have laughed in their face, where the hell did this come from?

I can understand people disagreeing with this pick, but were people really that surprised by it? I thought it was pretty obvious that they were going to pick Morneau or Jeter. Most fans follow batting avg, home runs and RBIs... so those are the main statistics they vote on (it seems). Morneau did well in all three categories.
