Default AJs vs maniac

Villan is the same villan in my JTo hand. He runs like 67/24/2 and is a crazyass. Super super loose. I saw him pull every move in the book. LRR, limping tons, raising to $20 pf, etc. He is really crazy. Aside from the JT hand (in which he stacked me), there was one other hand I played with him.

I raised AA utg, he calls. Flop comes 55T. I pot, he calls. Turn comes 2, I pot, he calls. River Q, I shove, he thinks and calls with JTo and MHIG.

PF was gay, I think gaytiltpoker started lagging on me and I momentarily lost connection.

Anyways, this is a tough spot. Not really sure what he has. I think he definitely peels this flop with a FD, as well as other hands. Thoughts here?

You could let this one go. There will be more +EV spots.

Sucks we are so deep in this spot. If villain is as crazy as you describe I'm getting my money in here, though I may be in the minority.

Raise preflop. Maybe play the flop slower. Check/call the turn.

Yes.

No way. Hammer him and make him pay with Ax, Jx, draw, etc.

I pot the turn and will get it in, expecting a guy with numbers like this to call with a diamond draw + pair, sometimes just a draw, smaller two pair, etc.

CRAI is okay on the turn too.

FD makes sense given his flop play

But why is he going super-aggro on the turn, when anyone with an IQ of at least 2, can see the flush?

AdX makes sense for a turn semibluff. Weird for a flopped set to play this way.

This hand is confusing and I'm going to shut up now.

Edit: the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced this is AdX. Push turn.

i would charge flop because of 2 diamonds...i agree with derosnec that he might be making this play with the Ad...it could be a set, but that's a little risky here, i think he's just trying to push his Ad draw here...pair+draw could definitely make this play...

Orange is playing with $404 in his stack to start the hand. So, not raising on the turn to build a pot here is retarted.

AdX is just one of his hands. Sets and made flushes are another.

I'm still waiting to see how many hands this guy has played against. Without a #, to assume he's a maniac v. just running hot is too strong an assumption.

I think just calling with AJs here is fine; if anything, for deception.
