Default JTo simple

have only been at table for a short while. villan shows unremarkable stats of 71/24/2. he has a stack of $600. Hero is tag.

villan covers, hero has $200. villan has been miniraising frequently pf. no real history to speak of.

villan limps UTG, hero raises to $9 otb when all else fold to him w. JTo. bb calls, villan calls.

($25) flop: Q J Tr. BB checks, villan checks, hero bets $24, bb folds, villan c/rs all in? Hero ?

edited to change some bet sizes.

easy call given preflop action.

Villain can easily have QK or T9. Although 98 is also in his range.

If he has you beat, be sure and suck out.

You know, how many hands do you have on this guy? Could it be that he's just running hot, getting lots of connectors that are making it, etc. etc.? I'm saying "you have to call" only in that from how you've described him, you've seen him play for a decent amount of hands (~85). Could change things, though I think that it's still a pretty good call here.

Against a whacko, I call. Is he really C/Ring AI with a flopped straight? It is possible (89 specifically), but I make the call.

WTF you've had some whack all-in decisions lately. Flip a coin here? I like variance so I'm calling.

An AF of 2 with a VPIP > 70% seems really, really high. I would call here and expect to be at least a 60% favorite if not potentially much higher.

I vote for a call too. It would seem like you'd have to be ahead of his range here.
