foxwoods over thanksgiving
anyone (tom 10167?) have any thoughts on how busy Foxwoods is over Thanksgiving? Wednesday night? Thursday night? rest of the weekend? I'd think Wednesday night might be crazy in there, since most people are not working on Thursday.
Any thoughts appreciated. |

Re: foxwoods over thanksgiving
Room rates were insane that week when I checked into it the other day. 300+ on weeknights and even higher weekends. I'm sure it will be busy. What else is there to do in New England?

Re: foxwoods over thanksgiving
Poker room - Dead Rest of the casino, unknown. I would have assumed dead but Photoc is saying rates were up high so not sure.
T-day is a family day, and Southern CT isn't a city like Vegas or anything, it's a family area. We're a *little* busy during the day but once later afternoonish starts(Brag:When I start) the room just absolutely dies. If you see me you can give a wave, I'll probably be the only dealer named Tom working that day. |

Re: foxwoods over thanksgiving
rooms are always redonkulous if you look at the rates within a week, especially for weekends/holidays. I booked a room in pequot a few weeks ago at ~170 for fri and sat night.

Re: foxwoods over thanksgiving
I will be there on Friday AM. I would think that it will start getting busy sometime mid afternoon like it usually does. Although I am hopeful it starts getting busier earlier than normal.
See you at the 'Woods. |
