0.25/0.50 Top Pair facing three flush on turn
No reads on villian, but I haven't seen him make any out of line plays, so I assume he's solid.

Re: 0.25/0.50 Top Pair facing three flush on turn
If he is solid a flush isn't that likely unless it is AXs. Otherwise he isn't going to raise out the other two limpers on the flop. Again if he is solid that AX is probably better than your AT since he cold called preflop.
The turn donk is bad. Again if he is solid he has shown some strength by cold calling and raising the flop. I don't see any reason to donk the turn unless you think he's weak and going to lay down to the club on the turn. A lot of what I have said is dependent on the solid read. That doesn't sound like a real firm read. Given that I probably just plan to call down from the flop since I hate to fold top pair here. If the board gets really scary I might fold somewhere, but the 9 clubs isn't scary enough. yet. |

If he's solid, donking the turn was an invitation to take your money.

I don't think I mind a check fold on this turn card, but if you want to continue, just call down.

Re: 0.25/0.50 Top Pair facing three flush on turn
I would have checked called the turn. His raise on the flop can mean a number of things. The most STUPID thing is if he raised on a flush draw. People really play flush draws dumb and I don't know WHY they think a raise is the proper play.
With THAT said either has an Ace or a flush and I have to put him on an Ace. |
