Default Poker Champs - need info

Poker Champs seems like an interesting site for me to check out. Anyone know if Gus Hansen is still associated with this site or is he fully with FTP now?

Who backs this site, is it safe?

Other than that, the software the games look great imo.

Its now owned by Betfair (huge UK sportsbook exchange).

I assume Champs will be rebranded in time. I understand that Hansen sold his stake to Betfair and was not retained.

Betfair went live with this software at the start of November and the general response has been a mass exodus of players to other Crypto sites (which is the platform Betfair moved from).

The UK poker forums, including Betfair's own, are full of complaints regarding disconnects and other fundamental issues (like the wrong hands being awarded the pot).

It doesn't make me want to rush and play there, at the moment.

So Betfair is adopting the software? Will they retain poker champs name or change it to betfair and just retain their software?

That's unfortunate to hear all the complaints, the software looks legit and the cash games look very juicy. I guess I will keep on observing the site and be in a wait and see mode for now.
