Not sure, but I know that the Microsoft Word that I use has an autosave feature which saves the documnet you are working on every X minutes on its own. So if you where working on it for 6hours it should have saved at some point. Good luck either way. [/ QUOTE ] Wasn't in MS Word. Even so, autosave doesn't matter when computer lab flips doomswitch with 10 second warning. User profile data isn't permanently written to disk until I log off. Balls.

Yes how do you work on something for 8 hours and not hit save once? I pretty much hit control s anytime i stop to think.

[/ QUOTE ] yeah im ocd about that too. one time though when i was in highschool i had my whole paper done and had hit select all to change the font/size to finalize things. after i formatted it, i went to hit 'control s' but accidentally bumped the 's' before hitting 'control s'. all that was saved was the letter s. such a sick beat. op, good luck to you man. i feel for you.
