I just don't understand how downswings continue for days/weeks. Hundreds of tables, thousands of independent hands, switching sites and it just doesn't stop.

I have no reputation to give any advice on, but I really think you should take a couple of days break. One of the reasons playing poker for a living beats 9-5 office work is that if you run bad/mess up you can give yourself a few days off to forget about it.

I guess what I shouldve said was the flop check wasnt as big as a mistake as just the turn call.

Flop check might not be great, but it certainly isnt terrible when you give someone a chance to make second best hand. I think that if he was going to check the flop he'd have to raise the turn when someone bets out, but what do i know im a donk
