50/100 vs JR-Bellande
couple folds to me i open 56 on the button to 300, bobby bellande calls in the SB, BB calls.
flop is 963r bobby bets 500, bb folds, i call turn is another 6 bobby bets 800, i raise to 2400 with 5k behind. hows this line look? i feel like i cant get action from a worse hand with my turn raise unless he really thinks im just pushing him off a hand and gets stubborn with a 9, but i doubt it. he has seen me do some tricky stuff in the past and i think he may suspect ive stolen some pots from him but not enough to pay me off here. should i just call and call/raise the river depending on how much he bets? based on my read of the situation, who likes a turn raise to 2400 with an unpaired straight draw type of hand? |

If you raise to 3k straight that could be fun too!

Re: 50/100 vs JR-Bellande
If you called the turn and planned to call/raise river, what amount would villain have to bet to make you just call on the river assuming the pot would be $3500?
As others have said , this is a standard raise- would he pay you of with TT etc? |

Re: 50/100 vs JR-Bellande
i think he probably raises TT pf so the best hand i can put him on is a 9, a set or a better 6.
i was thinking that if he bets like half pot on the river i can raise and if he bets close to pot just call. i mean it pretty much just comes down to how much i think he would bet hoping to get called by an overpair vs how much i think he would value bet a 9 hoping to get called by a worse hand. |

Re: 50/100 vs JR-Bellande
I mean the most critical part of this hand is stacks. This hand plays a lot differently with 25k stacks as opposed to 10k IMO.
Assuming 10k stacks, I probably call the turn and let him try to jam me off the river representing a 6. The 5 in your hand is pretty critical too because if he is semibluffing a straight draw you have a few of his outs gobbled up with no way of him knowing. As it is, I hollywood a little on the turn and call or jam every river pretty much. James |

Re: 50/100 vs JR-Bellande
you said he is unlikely to give you action with a worse hand and when your winning he is drawing near dead. so why are you raising?
