Re: Question about renter\'s insurance....
[ QUOTE ]
When I got my auto policy, they asked me if I was interested in renter's insurance. I told them no because I didn't have receipts for anything. I was then told I didn't need receipts so I went with it. It seems like this would be a high fraud insurance for such a low cost though, doesn't it? I got 8 grand for about $7 a month. [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. I got 16k worth of coverage for my renter's insurance at about $8/month. But what makes it better is that since I signed up for renter's at the same place I have my auto, I got a $30 discount, which in effect makes my payments about $5/month. That's pretty cheap for having some peace of mind when I go on vacation or whatever. |

Re: Question about renter\'s insurance....
fwiw i had to make sure my policy went over my condo association's master policy. some of them will apparently give you "insurance" but won't pay up if a master policy on the building exists.
