Default Good call or fishy call...fishy I think..

Live game, stack sizes all approximate but prety accurate. Have played 10 hours with SB (loose, pushes most draws), around 20+ hours with BB (tight agressive).

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: 5 euro/5 euro
10 players

Stack sizes:
hero (Button): 280
SB: 300
BB: 320

Pre-flop: (10 players) hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Folded to hero, hero raises to 20, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (60, 3 players)
SB goes all in (280), BB (after long pause) calls all in 280, hero calls (260)

With a paired board this of course is a very suspect call I think. Knowledge of the SB (likely to be pushing a draw), along with the read I had on the BB (that he would no way have called a raise with 95, and that he has a set or a straight-flush draw) made me call in the end.

thoughts?

Well you are getting about 2.25-1 to call, but if you think Sb would open push a draw that takes away some of your outs against BB. Would SB call with a big pair preflop and openpush the flop (doubtful because he would probably go for a check raise here) but the BB call puzzles me. I can't see him having anything other than 9x or 55 here so I don't like your call given their likely holdings and that you aren't drawing great, and sometimes dead to BB.

we are 50-50 vs overpairs <AA

its really not bad at all if u think he's capable of doing it w. smaller clubs.

WOW I dont even know what to say about this. You are going to risk your hole stack on a really poor draw with only 20 in the pot. The paired board means that you need over the odds to call and you are getting 2.25-1 to call a flush draw on a paird board against the blinds. The small blind is probably on a draw so you know that 2 more of you outs aren't live. Your Ace might be live but thats not really a factor at this point. The big blind has a 9. A9 or K9 but hell he might have 95 you never know.
This is just a bad call at best you are a 3-1 dog.

no really theres more in the pot than 20 because of a preflop raise and and 2 all ins after the flop, shocking. you only have 20 invested in the pot which means that you have very little invested in the grand scheme of things. if you had something like 100 then there is more reason to call but here not so much.

Go away. Whether hero put the entire pot up by himself or it just magically appeared in the middle is irreleant. I'm leaning towards a fold as well, but your reasoning is stupid.

Even in optimistic cases like, say, QQ and 76c for villains you are just barely getting the odds. I'd muck this pretty fast

Well, the thoughts from you folks are in line with what I thought. I actually called, and was very lucky in that I was up against a draw and a set of 9's and made my flush on the river. Knew it was a bad call though.
