I remember when the Gamecube came out in my town, the walmart just had a free-for-all. It was pretty ridiculous.

So the walmart I call says "its first come first serve but there's already a line". Me: "Ok, so are you enforcing the line or what? If someone just runs in at 7am what happens then". They just said some customer, not associate, was handing out tickets, but they wouldn't give me a straight answer as to how they are actually going to handle it.

To anyone who might have a clue:

Will the pre-order f-ups drive demand prices higher, and if so, for how long?

When is/are the next shipment(s) scheduled for and how many are expected to be released?

This is sick. I'm seeing PS3's go for almost $2000 on eBay.

I really wish I would have been able to acquire one of these. Just didn't work out.

I could have maybe waited in some of the lines since I didnt work today but they all looked like a lost cause since I know most stores only had 15 units. So looks like I will just not get one at launch and have to wait.

At least I will get my Wii.
