Re: flopped flush - turn action
3-bet. Anything close to a PSR. Unless you have better reads, I probably fold to a push. Kc2x-Jc2x, a worse flush, A9, 99, A2, 92, worse flushes, better flushes, probably even just some crappy dueces with no clubs. Just calling stinks, IMO.

[/ QUOTE ] why does calling stink? call and lead any non [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] river 3-betting defines the bottome end of our range very well, but tells us nothing about villain's range, as he will often just call w/ a better flush due to the paired board i don't think villain will make the pot too big on the river if he's got a bigger flush, since he's gotta be a little worried about the paired board, so calling usually will not put us in a tough situation on the river |

Re: flopped flush - turn action
Well, some better reads would be nice, but most $100NL donkeys aren't getting away from a duece here, nor worse flushes (5 worse flushes, 3 bigger ones). We're ahead of his range. 3-betting is for value. Calling gives Kc2x type hands a "free" river and there are a lot of cards that we don't want to see.

[/ QUOTE ] if they're not letting go of a 2, this is good, but I think they let go of most 2s to a push.... also, they let go of the flushes that we beat to a push... that's what i think, but i could be wrong, in which case pushing is goot |

Re: flopped flush - turn action
I didn't say push.. I said 3-bet. Pushing seems bad. This is probably one of my weaknesses. If we pump it to $45 and he pushes, are we committed?

Re: flopped flush - turn action
I think I call here.
If he's aggro, c/c river. If he's passive, c/f river. What say ye? Good or shizzay. |
