PSA: definitions

i think we need to define beats brags and variance.

how is blind luck a brag?
how is being an idiot and then screwing up a beat?
how is everything people can't understand variance?

Brag: You made a good decision or used your superior skill to get something good. Examples: You researched and found a good deal on a trip to Vegas and it included free shuttle service to Crazy Horse Too. You met a chick and took her home that night.
Beat: You made a good decision or used superior skill and you got unlucky. Examples: You found a great restaurant and it burns down the next day. You take a hot chick wearing a scarf home and she was hiding a huge goiter.
Variance: You made no decision and you experienced some good or bad luck. You order a steak at a new restaurant and it comes burned to a crisp. You win a free trip to vegas in some sweepstakes. Your girlfriend has crazy parents.
