push all in after the first raise (or a pot sized reraise), im sure that wouldve knocked third player out (after all he saw weakness, a standard 3bb raise and a call <- mistake with queens, you should always raise them in that position so you know where you stand), now first player probably put 3rd on a squeeze play and called him. anyways with that M and in that specific tournament, QQ is definately a push.

Reraise first time to 15-20k. I'd be doing a backflip to get it all in here after the push and call.

why not raise the first time around? If you raise, 3rd guiy shoves and 1st guy re-shoves - you can fold comfortably. With the action that took place you can't fold, sorry you ran into a higher pair.

Ignoring the smooth call preflop and facing the situation of two all-ins I ran this through pokerstove:
player1: 99+,AQs+,KQs,AKo
player2: the ladies
player3: 77+,AJs+,KJs+,QJs,AQo+,KQo

You're at a 41.5% chance to triple your stack. Not bad but you can lose it all. Very very tricky decision. But as said earlier we're playing to win and you're already in the money. So tripling your stack would certainly help you.

Those ranges are really bad I think man.

And 2, if we are 41% against two ranges here we cannot get in the pot fast enough. We only need like 30% equity.

Done that many many times with QQ lost many many tournies with QQ that fact sticks in the back of my mind every time I see QQ.

[/ QUOTE ]There is a reason you lose more tournies w/ QQ than 32o. It's a strong hand that is usually, but not always, ahead. You will remember your losses much more than your wins, but don't let that make you gun shy.

32o is easier to get away from on the turn. <looks left, points right, misclicks>

yeh my real hope was to see the flop and then get away if say an A or K fell but he put me to the all in test and I failed.
I won't make the mistake again
as It happened the flop came with a Q so had I made the call I was chip leader
