I call cause the pot is fairly big, and because I want to see his hand there.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why do you want to see his hand more than you want to see his money? Are you one of those guys who spite calls and then says, "I thought you had AA."

Blind vs Blind is a place where you can get away with excessive action because they never believe you. You've GOT to lower your standards here. Capping with top pair, nut flush draw on the flop is, however, so incredibly standard that it shouldn't be commented on REGARDLESS of the specific situation.

[/ QUOTE ]

No, I'm not one of "those guys." I was refering to getting to see what cards he played like this in the sb on top of the fact that there was too much in the pot to fold the river.

I was also only commenting on the river. I like the rest of the hand.

top pair nut flush draw. you mustve misread.

Yeah Mike from now on please use those pretty little suit icons.

Seeing the flush draw, I think the raise on the flop is fine. After he 3-bets, though, you're probably drawing, or against some goofy kind of rebluff. So I like the combination of offense and defense that calling down from there provides, plus you slightly help your implied odds if you improve.

Great point, Nate. Thanks for explaining, before I even asked, why calling down from the 3-bet is better than capping and taking a free card on the turn.

Just call the flop 3-bet and go from there. No, you cannot fold the river this is online poker.

Any reads on the guy? HU, I can't see myself folding this hand. I think I'll call it for information.

At the knife fight that is WPEX 10/20 call down and lose, unless its 'cashmerejack' then you might win... maybe.

I still call tho, turn c/r with a read, I find a laydown, without it, must call.

So you playing there often? I have noticed a few more 2+2 style players entering the game.

FWIW the majority have crashed and burned. So GL!

YOu have to call, he may be on the same bottom draw with a pair. You simply do not give away this pot for one bet.
