Default AK as BB in a raised pot

5$ MTT 4 tables, 36 players
UTG typical TAG

Holdem No Limit - 400 BB

Button (1,340)
SB (1,930)
BB (5,270) [Hero]
UTG (9,890)
MP (7,480)
CO (12,020)

Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Preflop: (6 players, 600)
UTG raises to 1200, 4 folds, Hero ???

What's the best action here and why?
What to do on a Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Shove PF.

I don't know. I expect to see five cards here.

anything other than all-in is a mistake. You've got 13 BBs and a top 5 hand, you can never lay this down and a call pot commits you, shove for maximum fold equity and to get the money in while you're still best.

Anything but a push preflop is a big mistake here - just stick it in and hope for the best

Ok thanks guys. I did exactly this and villain showed JJ. I put him on a range of 99+,AJs+,AQ+,KJs,KQ and including FE I pushed. I presume that's the reason why we push here, isn't it?

Should this situation happen again, I'll do exactly the same so

push. You want to see five cards, and calling leaves few options postflop.
