I am willing to admit that the this would be a very close fight to the death if the dog weighs > 120 lbs.
If the dog weighs less than 100 lbs then it will be crushed. You must understand that the ONLY way for a dog to attack is from its jaw. This makes for a pretty simple strategy. If the dog was capable of grasping the man with nasty claws, say like a tiger or lion, then the dog would DESTROY the man. The problem is the dog cannot grasp. This is the reason why I say the dog must weigh alot. The more it weighs the more it can use its overall body to hold down its victim. [censored], if a small ass 80 lb dog was fighting me I would pick his ass up and slam him on his [censored] neck. |

Lock - I'll bet not more than 5% of the fatal (to the human) dog attacks were on a healthy full grown male human. [/ QUOTE ] I'll bet most of these attacks did not involve dobermans trained to kill humans. |

As stated in the OP, we are choosing the best possible dog for this fight (so obviously pitting a large dog against a human is more advantageous). A 170lb rottweiler or similar breed trained to kill will destroy the average grown man, and I doubt its close. |

I'd be much more afraid of a 120lbs rottweiler than a 170lbs one. They tend to max out around 130 and then just become fatasses.
