I spilled lots of water on my laptop

Got back into my room after a rough night and I was drinking lots of water. I must not have noticed that I spilled a TON of water directly on my keyboard. I closed my laptop, which was still on, and went to sleep. Woke up in the morning, opened it up, noticed there was a huge puddle of water on the keyboard still and it was no longer on. (Beat) I turned it upside down and water literally came pouring out. [censored]. Used a blow dryer to clear all the excess water, took out battery and let it sit for 24 hours.

Next day I put the battery back in, a light starts flashing, and it starts making awful clicking noises. Ah. Take battery back out and let it sit for a few more hours. Put battery back in, still makes clicking noises but I decide I might as well try to boot it up. After a few presses, it turns on and boots up completely normally. Has been working 99% perfectly since. (Brag)

Who thinks it will continue working with no after effects? Who thinks it will crap out in the near future? (Variance)

I real balla would have spilled Courvoisier on it instead or at least thrown it away after spilling the water.

Also- what the hell? Where was your butler during all of this?

It's an interesting idea, but I don't think it will help the performance of your laptop.
