Default Favorite Atlantic City Casino

Hello room. I will be making a trip to Atlantic City in early December for a night or two on my way to Deleware from Pittsburg. I've been there about 5 times in the past 2 years. I haven't gotten a chance to play in too many places. I have played 1/2 nl at Borgata, 1/2 nl at Tropicana,1/3 nl at Balley's. Does anyone have any other place they enjoy to play at? I was thinking about checking ceasar's and/or showboat. Would love to hear some recent feedback on places besides Borgata, Trop and Balley's. Was there in August and just played at the Trop since we stayed there.

I wish the Sands was still open.

Cheaper rooms (A little)
Best Casino floor bar in AC
Good selection of Table games
10x odds in Craps (10x is just dying out)
Dunkin Doughnuts near the Bar
Poker room was away from the casino
Simulcast was the quietest in AC

IMO the Claridge is the place for low rollers in AC
The table games all have 5 dollar minimums
The selection is all there.
They have a nice Asian Games section.
Good selection of nickel and penny slots.

Theme wise they suck trust me. But you can get tickets to the price is right stage show ( This is best show in AC )
But for low roll gambling it's the place to go.

well now that the sands got sucked out on

I prefer the Hilton's poker room during the day... they actually have a huge window with great view that lets in sun light. It's a high ceiling room that is very friendly.
Here's a site that has info on AC poker.. http://www.acpokerguide.com

The room itself is nice, as is the room at Caesars, but the game selection at both is terrible. They're good choices if you want to play 2/4 limit or 1/2 NL.

Everyone should play at the Taj at least once. Yeah, the chips are a bit grimy, and they have their share of old people, but I still like playing there every now and then. Always a good selection of games, and good turnout for the daily tournaments. It's the first casino I ever played cards in.

Is there anywhere that posts schedules for the daily tournaments? I might not have enough time to play in a tournament. i will be arriving on a thursday night and leaving mid day on friday. Anyone know of any tournaments for a buy in of around 50-100 bucks? Sounds like the hilton might be nice, you said the game selection sucks though there but would be good for 1/2 no limit. That is usually what i play. Do they just not offer that many tables of that game there?

Favorite AC casinos:
For tournaments: Borgata
For No Limit: Hilton
For Limit: Borgata or Tropicana Pink Chip game

If I played higher stakes than I do, it would be Borgata all the time.

I like Trop....no waits, 4/8 hold 'em, 5/10 stud, & the infamous "pink chip" game. The floor also comes around and scans your poker card every hour or so.
