How [censored] gay can you get, seriously? So I fire up a freeroll on Stars for VIP players, it’s just a turbo Round 1 (which leads the top 150 to Round 2, which leads it’s top 300 to Round 3, where the top 6 players win a 12K package to the Bahamas for a WPT event)

Anyway, first hand some [censored] limps 8/10 suited in EP, I limp 7/10 offsuit in LP with the 10 of clubs.

The flop is 3/7/8 all clubs (this dude has hearts) and he leads for 120 and I call as does another player in the blinds. The turn is another 7, the blind checks, this guy bets 120, I raise it to 500 and the blind folds. This idiot pushes all-in and I insta-call and see how thin he’s drawing. Oh, but wait, LOL RIGGEDAMENTS! [censored] 8 on the river and I’m out the first hand. Gimme a frigging break. That’s why I abso-[censored]-lutely hate tournaments, they are so unbelievably [censored] gay it’s not even funny.

After the flop we're 55/43 (2% to tie)

after the turn I'm 95% to win, yeehaw!

Cash games are where it’s at (meanwhile, I have another freeroll with $2,500 in prize money coming up in a few hours, w00t!)

Not even close. I've had quads vs. the nut house flopped in Omaha hi/lo only to get rivered by the higher quads.

I was in the Party 40K guaranteed last year and had A/A against a larger stacks K/K and he rivered the King to send me packing in 28th place.

Then in the 40K guaranteed I had A/Q in the BB against the SB's A/K and was sent packing in 12th.

I had the flush draw and position, and I picked up trips on the turn plus still had the flush draw. I will cease getting my money in as a 95% favorite from now on, that was obviously idiotic of me.
