Default Dbitel Versus My Nuts

Villian is one of our own. He and I have only played a couple of tables together, but he knows who am I. He's much more aggressive preflop than most of us and this is the first time I've ever seen him cold-call one of my raises. He's probably 3-bet me 10 times in our short history together. If it matters I recently 4-bet him pf and he folded.

Given your hand his range is pretty heavily weighted towards pure/semi bluffs(QTs being a big part of his range I think) here and then occasionally 66/KJ so call and check the turn.

What you do after that depends on the card and whether/how much he bets.

Call, lead the turn half-pot? He may push if he puts you on AK. I don't think he ever calls JJ pre. 66 possible. Not sure how he plays QT. AK/KJ is possible, but rare.

Call.

Check turn.

If he bets on the turn I put him in.

If he doesn't I lead out on the river.

Definite call IMO. Never played with Dbitel, but there arent a lot of turn cards that kill your action or your hand. Let him bluff turn, or stack him if he has a lower set/2pair.

What range of hands does he call pf, raise flop, check behind turn, and call river with?

I'm very inclined to say call and check the turn but...if u call the raise, he puts u on AK or better, and is almost always checking behind on the turn IMO. But at least this way, you get a river value bet in if he holds anything semi-decent.

At the same time, if he has any sort of draw, and hits somewhere along the way...how much are we willing to pay off?

Against a donk I call and check turn, but against one of our own, I might just reraise to a fishy 100 and see what plays out. He might play back at you? Maybe? Hopefully? I don't really think he has a hand anyway so the only way your making more out of him is if you allow him to bluffback (which i don't think he's going to do but it's worth a shot)

dbitel never has anything, and if he actually does have 66 or KJ you'll get AI on the turn anyway. Good time for the stack-a-dbitel line. You could also consider leading weak on the turn and seeing if he'll shove.

I hope you just called so we can discuss the turn action.
