My set

This is the place for the golfers of OOT to post what's in their bag.

My set consists of:

2-9 Titleist 990's
50* Vokey
56* King Cobra M/56
60* King Cobra M/60
14.5* Titleist 970F
9.5* Taylor Made R7

This is the set I played in college and still play today, with exceptions for the driver and Cobra wedges.

why not change the title so that it actually mentions golf clubs instead of your balls, which is what I thought this post would be about.

Just bought a new set...I've been playing for about 6 months, around a 14 handicap. Figured I'd go with some clubs that would be better for a beginner.

Big Bertha Fusion Driver, 9* (Havent hit this yet)
Orlimar Woods (Go to 'off the tee' club) 16 and 18*
2004 Big Bertha Irons (used to use knockoffs)
Cleveland Wedge 57*
Cleveland Wedge 54* I think thats the right degree
Odyssey 2 Ball White Steel putter

An old Big bertha driver (possibly getting a King Cobra Driver and 3 wood next season)
and I have a Ping putter, but I really like the Odyssey 2ball and was considering buying one of those

But I should probably invest my money in lessons....

The 2Ball definitely improved my putting. It used to be the weakest part of my game. The main difference is in the long putts. Short to medium putts I made with the same frequency, but it was much easier to put the ball close to the hold with the 2Ball.

Hence, the 2Ball made for much much easier 2 putts on very long putts. It'd be a good purchase, for beginners and savvy veterans alike.
