Default 1/2 6-max 4-Flush Bluff

villian is 62/12/something and hasn't really done anything dumb yet, i think he needs one of 4 cards to call this river bet, and that it looks suspicious enough. Note, this is a bluff i don't think my pair of 7's is good....

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) converter

Hero ($181.05)
Button ($38.25)
SB ($195.55)
BB ($48)
UTG ($607.55)
MP ($214.20)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $8</font>, Button calls $8, SB calls $7, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

Flop: ($26) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: ($26) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $6</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $18</font>, Button folds, SB calls $12.

River: ($62) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $45</font>, SB calls $45.

Final Pot: $152

looking back i need to make a real turn raise don't i, 3x his bet is only good if he makes a real bet. Should've gone pot sized raise

Not betting the flop makes it hard for somebody to believe you have a flush on the turn.

On the river.. well, you could easily have the lone A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] here, given how the hand played out. If you're gonna bluff the turn, you must bluff this river.

Sorry he made a heroic call on you.

is betting your flush draws standard flop play? I do it about 1/2 the time.
