WPEX is rigged 100%

I play the higher limits at WPEX (unfortunately that is only 2-4 and i can say that i have suffered some terrible beats there. However, i have suffered far worse at Full Tilt and Party and Stars and in live games. Its poker guys, grow up and deal with it.

Now if you suspect collusion that is a totally different story and i think WPEX should do a better job, but i strongly doubt there is anything fishy with their software.

My experience has been similar to Benjamin's at the 5/10 level. I've basically broken even and then collected rakeback. Don't know how many hands I've played but I've collected $9000 in rake. I usually multi-table 4 games if I can. The play is extremely aggressive at times and like many others I've had my top set cracked on the river by a guy capping with a gutshot. I think the play day in and day out has stronger competition than other sites, as one might guess by the opportunity to earn 100% rakeback. It's not like Party where you raise with AQ and get 4 guys cold calling your raise preflop and paying you off afterward. Instead you'll be 3-bet by a guy probably playing JT but putting you to the test.

I have no complaints about the software. I don't have connection issues anymore and I think the interface is pretty clean. WPEX is the only place I play at the moment.

I think the games are definitely beatable and definitely not rigged. I don't see how an established company would jeopardize their reputation like that. I think people just need to adjust their game. My goal coming in was just to break even from my play as the rakeback 4-tabling 5/10 comes out to over $50/hr which is good enough for me as a part-time hobby.

now that that is out of the way, WPEX is mostly a limit site. NL games there are pretty dead.

I have been playing on WPEX for about 3 months and my personal opinion is that it definetely is not rigged. Think about it... who knows about WPEX, mostly only people involved in the poker community (ie better players). Therefor the games are much tougher, very few donks at decent limits (i play 10 20 - 30 60).
The games are uber aggressive and can have big variance. In response to the guy who lost 45k playing 10-20 and 20-40... that must have been major tilt... isnt that over 1k bets? getting up to BK.
However, eventhough the games are tough i feel that the rake actually does make a big difference. It truly adds up and getting 100% instead of 30% at another site with a few more donks has been better for me.

You must be one completely naive person to not understand just how profitable gambling operations are.

WPEX makes money from investing all the poker deposits that players make, and from the rake they do give back. What do you think the interest is per day on, say, $10 million? This alone likely pays for the staff support and maybe even the software itself, although that could be a stretch.

But i'm sure 50% of the poker players lay at least one bet per week. Further, at least a quarter of these people will blow alot of cash betting sports.

Whether you win your Laker bet is irrelevant, because some other dude likely bet the opposite and lost. The juice is huge...

Well I guess I count as a respected poster. I hate even saying this since I wish everyone on 2+2 stayed away from the "rigged" site but I'm a big winner there over the last two months (or since whenever party kicked us). 15k hands 10/20 --> 100/200. Everyone there sucks including probably most of the people who are replying in this thread saying its rigged, but I haven't played with you, princeofpersia (I knew it was you the other day when I saw you in the games), so I can't say how you play from my perspective. Oh except yopapaya he seems good.
