1.) Great analysis.

2.) My bar results come out a week from today, pray for me.

3.) In terms of waiting to raise until 5th., I think that is clear. I thought some could argue that I should wait until 6th.

In heads up play I think it would be ludicrous to raise before 5th against this opponent.

If you raise on 6th and he re-raises, do you have the discipline to fold 7th unimproved?

Also, I dont think for a second this opponent was considering what my hand was.

No. ONe of 2 things will happen if I raises fourth

a) he folds. This is bad for me

b) He goes into check call mode for the rest of the hand and I lose half a bet. This is also bad for me.

If this is true, you're not nearly aggressive enough.

I disagree. You have the best hand, get money in the pot...In a HU situation most players, especially at levels lower than 10/20 (say 2/4-5/10), will not fold a hand with an ace door card especially if they have split aces.

What if you don't improve & he catches running cards like he did? Your slowplay bit you right square in the ass!!!

Any pot you can drag is a good one.

You played this exactly as I would have, though I am definitely a TAG. You say that you have been playing super aggressive and running over him, in a HU situation with that trend/image I like an earlier raise on fourh repping jacks or a flush draw, if he is that loose you can get an extra bet. It unfortunate that he caught running trips but I am certainly calling down to 7th, especially given your read.

Extremely loose on later streets, often calling until 7th with any pair, even if my board is paired higher.

Given this is accurate, I am not folding this.
