$6.5 bubble with two microstacks what to do??
PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t400 with t25 antes (4 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com
CO (t715) malnek (t885) SB (t2445) BB (t9455) Preflop: Hero is in Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] CO raises to t690 (All-in), malnek raises to t860 (All-in) assuming that co is pushing just about anything and also assuming that sb and or bb calls with any 2 was my shove here correct? sngpt gives me a fold but intuitively this shove makes sense for me. the reasoning being that if CO wins and i fold, im probably gonna bubble. if CO loses and i fold i money into third and invariably finish third. if CO loses and i call and lose to either SB or BB i finish third. If CO loses and i call and i win, i can make a run at 2nd or 1st? |

Re: $6.5 bubble with two microstacks what to do??
I would just fold. Chances are good that SB and BB will call, so CO has a small chance of surviving both of them. This is your chance to get ITM with no risk....

Wrong, you fold, then push any hand next hand if shorty wins.

Re: $6.5 bubble with two microstacks what to do??
The other thing is that people are donks. What happens if you call and then people say "WTF....why did this guy call when he didn't have to. He must have a really good hand. I'll just fold even though it's only 300 more". Then your heads up with the cut off.....not exactly something you want.
Just fold and stay out of the way. |
