Is it not possible that stinger has KcKXcx here, given his betting UTG 6-handed? Of course he could have a wrap/set but it seems to me that you're being pushed off the best hand here sometimes.

nice read, i half-jokingly repeat my earlier question

"You are also getting called with a few hands that you have dominated."

ok guys, I'd like to hear what you think of my play as well. My hand was 7733. Should I be raising the flop and willing to get the money in right there? I know I have the current nuts but my hand can be an underdog to a wrap and flush draw and having 2 sets makes my redraws limited.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would fold 7733 preflop UTG at a 6max table. Your hand is very weak. On the flop I think there are merits for both callling and raising. If you call you might get one of the shorter stacks to shove behind you putting me in teh middle and giving you the oppurtuity to reraise me. Another merit to calling the flop is if a 2 comes off on the turn I may put you on a draw and try to move you off your hand or think my aces are best adn call you down. This is obvously nice because getting moeny in with nearly 100% equity is very profitable and very hard to do at omaha.

aba,

You're right in that a call mainly has merit in order to disguise his hand (thus getting a short stack to shove or getting you to fire another barrel on the turn). However, a raise by him (as we have seen from the arguments of people on here) does not necessarily mean that he has a set or even top set. So as long as he is mixing up his play and raising with both sets and draws, a raise here seems optimal.

The more people that are in the pot the less you can narrow what cards help or hurt on the turn.
