Preflop Hand selection

Sometimes i run good, sometimes i run bad.. in the end i just keep breaking even .. this is over a 15k hand period... Anyway, Ive been playing a lot of hands here and there. but my conecept of preflop hand selection is shot..

If any of the successful players here could discuss position / preflop hand selection i would appreciate it...

Just buy one of the beginner books, they all discuss preflop hand discussion. Besides I haven't even played 15k hands yet, but that is what a month of playing poker? Maybe next month you will become a winning poker, the more hands you get under your belt, the better you play I guess.
And post hands where things go wrong.

There's a couple of good websites on the net where they discuss exactly this. Or also trawl through the various boards here on 2+2 (use search function or the digests)

well my current situation kinda works like this..

Deposited 25 ran it up to 90 playing 1c/2c ... played 3 dollar sng's ran that to 180... and busto from being an idiot..
I had 1 dollar in my acct.. ran that up to 10 playing 1c/2c omaha.. then to 40 playing 1c/2c nl .. then won sunday sat on stars for another 200 after selling $t...
Currently im sitting at about 235 or so ... after playing about 8k hands of 5c/10c .... Ive had huge up's and a disgusting down.. and back to even =]..
Anyway, sitting on about a 240 dollar BR atm but don't want to just go busto being an idiot..
So thanks to those who already replied, and thanks to those who can provide input to making me better.

Work your way throught the Essential Selection Sticky at the top of this board -there's loads of preflop/position discussion in there as much more.
