Bet!!!

He is representing some sort of Ace with his preflop 3bet and you represented a lower pair or top pair on the flop. Just pray he hit his A and thinks he is good. This is the perfect time to bet/3bet. If he doesn't have the A he probably won't give you more action anyways. And if he has 88-KK he will go to the river no matter what, so you also miss value by not betting against these hands.

I don't think he would expect me to bet this turn with a hand that didn't beat AK, and if he doesn't have the ace I felt the check through would make it more likely I get looked up on the river.

Do people really play this fancy at 3/6? Harv I have sat with you and you give people at this level too much credit for semi-bluffing and bluffing. I see you calling down weak passives who are betting and you have ace high busted straight draw...just bet this turn and take the pot down or make 2BB when he has to call you down with AK, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 99, 88

If you're always checking behind on this board with hands that don't beat AK you are missing tons of value.

Bet 3 bet.
