This would be awesome if it were to happen. How much wouldd you be willing to put up Bruiser? You say you don't have $500K, but a match for $250K or even $100K would still be awesome.

I think Diablo will chicken out though. No way he would feel comfortable playing $50/$100 if he is only playing $1/$2 now.

bruiser,

"lose maybe 3 or if you're really unlucky and makea few mistakes 4 buy ins and lose back 20,000 the variance isn't so bad"

HAHAHHAHAHA this statement regarding aggro SH high-limit poker shows what a complete lucksack you are and explains why you hold some of your ridiculous beliefs. Before any morons pipe up, the fact that bruiser is a lucksack does not mean that he's not good at poker.

As I stated in our chat, I am willing to play you 50/100 if you are willing to commit 250k minimum to it. Of course, you'd be welcome to add on to this amount if you somehow got terribly unlucky and lost it. I am willing to give the money to daryn to hold, I believe we both trust him enough (I'll draft and pay for a legally binding contract that you can use with daryn to hold him liable for giving you that 250k).

[23:34] diablo: not freezeout
[23:34] diablo: just MINIMUM NUMBER OF BUYINS
[23:34] diablo: i dont want to coinflip variance

Since I believe variance is an important factor and you don't, I don't see why a commitment like this should be any issue for you.

Anyway, here are the two criteria under which I am willing to play you.

1) The total amount committed is at least 20 buyins for the limit we play.

2) The total amount committed is at least 250k. That amount is picked because based on various things I'm guessing your bankroll is in the 500k range.

Gary, mike:

Obv it will never take place, but he is welcome to offer a counter challenge.

Bruiser has so far offered to "sit against me at 50/100" with no commitment for how long/how much/etc. I have declined this, as the variance/edge ratio here is not one which is worth it to me. What that means is that the level of annoyance I would feel at losing 20-30k is big compared to what I think my EV is in that game.

El D,

I have a question since this thread started out being about durr. Would you be willing to play durrr with the same setup you are offerring Bruiser, and why or why not?

"HAHAHHAHAHA this statement regarding aggro SH high-limit poker shows what a complete lucksack you are and explains why you hold some of your ridiculous beliefs."

i don't even know where to begin with this. i've played a lot of SH poker, i've had a lot of big swings by now and that includes swings in the downward direction. i'm really not sure how you can say i'm a lucksack after so long a time period. plus considering i've played more shorthanded poker than most people here i don't see why no one gives me any credibility.

as i said in chat i don't want to commit a minimum amount, i'll only do a cash game with no commitments.

Not to be picky Bruiser, but some mod changed your title not your location. Make your location say "an 8 year old mod changed my title".
