i guess my thinking was call $15 to win a $200 pot if i flopped a set... his 4-bet miniraise about priced me in right?
If he had bet bigger i would have just pushed, but it seemed like with that mini-4bet from good player, that he is holding AA 90% of time.. or maybe my thinking is just all [censored] up on this hand |

There is nothing anyone can say about his hand without knowing his play style and your image. It's more likely to be AA, yes. And sometimes it isn't.
If you fold with KK here, essentially anyone can min-4-bet you and fold to a push with any two. You can't call for set value here. Neither of you has the stacks. If you are going to play scared, fold pre-flop. Otherwise push. Failing that, push that flop. |

yeah... i honestly hate the way i played this hand. I was playing a bit scared that day because of some bad beats and took the cautious route..
so basically the consensus is either push preflop (folding seems terrible but my line seems even worse) or get all your chips in on a flop like this. seems simple now but you know how it goes when things are running bad. thx for advice all. |

Pooooosh.
The odds of someone having AA when you have KK are like 23 to 1. I'm willing to get it all in everytime pre-flop with KK, and getting it all in on a flop without an Ace isn't a bad play either. Timid poker players have skinny kids |
