Default (Semi-OT) warning: not enough sample size

Not sure I should post here or in the [censored] thread. (mod: move it if necessary)

A friend of mine has ~10% ROI 3 tabling Stars 60 turbo (over 1000 sngs, and ~13%roi over last 500), but he just cannot beat $16t/27t (about 2.5% roi over 600). (no it is not me)

Edited: I coached him a year ago how to beat Party $11/22, but his style is significantly different from mine(or basic 2p2 style), and I cannot [censored] beat $60t now.

Sounds like he does not know which hands to shove and which hands to lay down as the blinds increase. Obviously a mandatory skill for the turbos. Tell him to review his hand histories with SNGPT after each game.

Why play 60s if you can't beat the lower levels?

im coming to the realization that ~5k SNGs is where your stats start to mean something.

ya, sample size is small.. some people play 600 S&G's every couple weeks, and all winning players don't win every month.

Now you know better. You want leaks identified by small sampled ROI? Bah. All are possible with the exception of the absurd '60's are easier'.

I'm a part-timer - but with enough tourneys to understand the normalcy of 600 tourney ROI swings from break-even to 40%+.

Silly stuff here OP
