$40 an hour!! - is this standard to charge per seat in most books after you wager their? I haven't been to vegas during the football season for about 15 years so i guess i am in for a surprise

I've never heard of a sportsbook charging to sit and watch during the regular season. The closest might be when Caesars had the helmet chairs and you bribed someone to sit in one.

The $40 charge is actually a $10 charge per person per hour for food and beverage at the ESPN Zone next to the NYNY sports book.
