What are main adjustments from full ring to 6 handed?
My main experience is 9-handed PLO, and I definitely have better results there than my forays into 6-hand play. I would like to play more 6 handed, since that is primary game on FTP. any suggestions on main adjustments.

Become more aggressive and slightly looser. Play less hands from the blinds. Read people better. Profit!

Do I play more non-nut draws? play my non-nut made hands stronger? At full table, I will fold non-nut flush most of the time, but what about 6-handed? Do you raise more preflop, or just try to keep seeing cheap flops, etc.

most importantly players self select to play 6 handed. Laggy types will be drawn to short handed play, while more conservative/solid players will prefer full tables.
You will need to be more aggressive and not assume a bet or raise by your opp means as much. You will not be auto folding medium flushes or #2 flush draws as you might in full ring games. |
