If you save for the Aston Martin you can get better than 50% rakeback. At 260k MSRP and 5 million FPPs it comes down to 5.2 cents per FPP. If you play only tournaments(sorry only way I can run the numbers easily) this works out to 65% rakeback could be more as I may have miscalculated the FPP multiplier on the low side.

50% rakeback at Pokerstars via concierge. I only have 280,000 FPPS or so at the moment though. Hopefully I'll have it by XMas 2007 or so.

How many points would this take, is this really possible?

I'd like to know as well. Can you really do this?

The Aston Martin sells for a little over $100k.

I was just going to reply that it's worth $110K or about 2.2 cents a point. I was looking for some links.

Here's one to an article from car connection link to car connection

We'll see.
From their previous e-mail to me I now have a phone # I can call. So I can more directly price-compare and determine if it's worth spending the points on that.

I used one of the $500 vouchers about a month ago to travel to see my wife's family - worked out well. I basically found the flight on expedia, called them up and had them book the exact flights I found. Price was exactly the same. It wasn't quite as nice as booking it directly over the internet (the email confirmation didn't look professionally done like the itinerary that comes from expedia) and I was a little worried we'd get to the counter and they wouldn't be able to find us - but we didn't have any problems.
