Still Clearing the 200 Euro bonus, as i have like 12 hrs left to play about 500 raked at .5/1 (45% raked, not bad), also still on a breakeven stretch with all the fish playing suckout Jester recently, but here is where i become the fish...

Flop: (4 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero Turns on pattern mapper and calls like a donk.

Turn: (3 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero knows whats coming so calls again.

River: (5 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB calls.

So after a month of playing well and running well at .50/1 6-max I decide to give 1/2 a shot. The first table I hit is golden. It's worse than most .50/1 tables. I ran well and hit it up for about $40, which I then lost at another table. After about 450 hands tonight with some swings and a less than stellar run, I won a negligible amount. I'm pretty sure I should have no trouble making 1/2 my main game now. I saw a couple decent TAGs tonight, but that shouldn't be a big issue with 2-4 craptacular players per table. Overall the play was a little tighter, a little more aggressive, but for the most part still pretty soft. It might take a little while to adjust to the more aggressive and solid postflop play at this level, but I think I can handle it. Sorry Party 1/2 6-maxers, but there's another TAG around. It's a good thing there's enough fish that we can probably each take our own table.

Had the pleasure of having 2 90%+ VPIP guys at my table tonight, table avg. VPIP 62% (much due to them).

Got teh fun of watching the 93/18 guy go from his original 25 BB to 68 BB to busting and rebuying and dropping another 20 BB.

The other 91/2 guy busted alot faster, maybe 2 1/2 orbits.

And as for me? first +20 BB, then down -35 BB, finish +1.68 BB

And my bonus is now about 26% cleared....
(and yes the 93/18 guy bad beated me like 3 pots)

Similar hand, hemstock. Fortunately I wasn't in it so I can laugh. Villian is one of my all time favorite fish (43/1/.5). The pre flop call is just undeniably brilliant.

Must be the full moon. Been a great nite, this table is playing 39/5 after an hour. My other table is 31/3, and there's a guy at 45/0.00%/0.14 after 300+ hands.

I love this game.

Default Re: B&Ms are rigged

I don't think I've ever (purposely) posted a bad beat post, so here goes!

I had been playing at Rama in their 2/5 game on a Sunday afternoon. Around 2pm I decide to move up to their 5/10 game, which is populated by some pretty tough players, since there's only 25 people in the cardroom and 5/10 is their highest limit currently spread. (The games normally pick up around 3pm or so). I think my bankroll around this time is something like $1500, so for me to even sit down isn't very wise, particularly at a tough, tightish table. However, I'm up like $90 so far from the 2/5, so I do it. I'm playing above my limit, though, and my image to this point has been pretty weak-tight.

Across the table from my is a retired cop, who's wearing a Bellagio shirt. With my stereotypical foot-in-mouth habit, I make a joke in reference to the "I came to Mexico and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" shirts, and say, "I lost $10,000 in Vegas and all I got was this lousy t-shirt." No reaction. Tough crowd, tough crowd.

A little while later, it's folded to this guy. He's in MP3, and I'm in the BB. He raises. I read him on a steal, and reraise with Q3s. He calls.

Flop comes up KQ3r. Cool. I bet out. He thinks and raises. I hesitate, getting pretty nervous about him having KQ, or a tricky KK/QQ. I three bet. He calls.

Turn card is a 6. I bet, he raises. Now I'm really hating my hand, but I three-bet. He calls.

River is a 6. He says, "Nope, nope, that's not the card I wanted to see." I say, "You didn't want to see that?" He says, "Nope." I say, with a big smile on my face, "Well, me neither, so I check." He bets and I call.

He says, "Full house!" Turns over 63s. Then he proceeds to say, "Making fun of my shirt? My daughter bought me that shirt. [censored] you, buddy!"

I say, "Sorry, I didn't mean to bother you. Nice hand." And turn over Q3. He gets really quiet.
