Seriously, its pretty popular in Christian intellectual circles to support the "apparent age" theory. This holds that God had to create a world with the appearance of age for the eco-systems to fucntion properly. By doing so you have a truly young earth appearing to be much older. So in some sense you will both get what you want, she gets to think earth is young and you score while you are still young.

Yes I know this all makes no sense - I am just passing on what I have heard.
