As discussed above, NetObjects is pretty easy to use.

Re: For those who have their own website...
One thing I'm trying to figure out now is how to include stuff made with other programs without changing the look of the site.
For example, say I make a blog with Wordpress; I could put in an external link, but is there a way to get the blogging functionality within the site layout? I suppose I ought to read through the help files |

Re: For those who have their own website...
You can create a Wordpress theme that looks like the rest of your site.

Re: For those who have their own website...
ive always been an advocate of dreamweaver and you can really make a site that does everything you want with it.
the difference between a professional site and an amateur looking site is not whether it was hand coded, it is the quality of the graphics coming out of photoshop which is really a measure of the skill of the designer. the site linked in my profile was done in dreamweaver. (i dont think its an amazing site but it definitly doesnt look like some complete amateur template.) |

As discussed above, NetObjects is pretty easy to use. [/ QUOTE ] Out of curiosity are you referring to Netobjects Fusion 9? If so is there a trial version, since the program costs $200. If it's as fast as you guys says, I may have to give it a try. FYI: There is a ton of debate on whether to use Dreamweaver or Frontpage: http://www.google.com/search?client=fire...G=Google+Search I'll see what I can find on Joomla, Wordpress (blogger friendly), Drupal (developer friendly), NetObjects, and XsitePro. I don't think Adobe makes GoLive anymore since they acquired Macromedia. |

Re: For those who have their own website...
IMHO Drupal is the best option for MY websites. It took me a long time to learn how to use it though, and that will certainly turn some people away from using it. But once you figure it out you can basically build anything you want.

And banging my head against the wall trying to get it to let me have an adsense banner AND a google search box on the same page.. |

Re: For those who have their own website...
I have used Frontpage for a long time now. I like it because it is easy and I am used to it. I don't really care about design factor limitations that Frontpage may have because I have no artistic or design bones in my body. I have seen plenty of very nice Frontpage templates and sites that are designed very well though.
