Default At what point was should I have given this up?

I'm thinking the turn was a good place, but it was hard to lay down to such a weak bet. I called the pre-flop reraise hoping for over calls, and I was planning to get out if I didn't catch a set.

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is UTG+1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Stack sizes would be good, but I don't like the call down with TT. Even as an overpair to the board, BB seems to like his hand a lot. Fold the turn at the latest, depending on your read

I am trying to get better at putting hands on villains. I think PT stats might help here, but what hand would a normal opponent three bet here? JJ+ and AK? Maybe AQ? Would he three bet light (what would be the best way to figure this out?). He'd CB any of his hands, and that is a small CB, so I might call the flop, but since he bets out again on the turn, I'd definitely fold.

What do you make of his smaller bets? Is he just trying to sort of control the size of the pot with an overpair?

The small bets look like an incompetent player with AA trying to get "value" - maybe a scared QQ/KK on the river.

Does everyone else here see the flop after the reraise?

Sorry, I keep thinking I put them. All both me and the reraiser started at about $50, one of the callers was about the same and the other was pretty short.

Agreed, the turn was dumb.

yeah i think you played this very weakly, if youre going to call on the turn i think its worth it to raise a bit and see if maybe he has AK, if he calls your definitely completely done with it. as played im folding the turn
