Could you explain what "ATS" means please.

Some other notes on the Lions-

In every game except 2 the opp. offense has scored more then 20 points. Along with that, all but one had both of those good lineman in the game. Detroit has also hasn't really played anyone quality except the bears and they got pummelled. They've played buff, jets, gb. I mean come on. Asides from GB, none of those teams have anyone on offense.

Well, I haven't really looked at the under yet, but I would be squeemish about it. ATL puts up pts. They are putting up a lot lately. Detroits defense certainly isn't going to stop them this week. That I think is a certain. It all depends on how much detroit can score. I think that is what is up in the air this week.

Really have no opinion on the side but I'm on under 47 for one unit. Any other thoughts on this?

Atlanta should put up serious points on this defense (30+). So if you're looking for the under, I'd consider parlaying it with ATL -5.

Well that's not true; the Vikings offense scored 13.

Incorrect det vs minny the score was 26-17. They lost. The only scores that didn't go over 20 for the opp. teams offense was Buff in which they won 20-17 and Seattle which they lost 9-6.

I am shocked at how everyone thinks this game is all about ATL. I will give some devil's advocate factors for why Detroit could possibly win the game.
1. Detroit is at home
2. Detroit is coming off of a bye.
3. The team believes they can run off 9 wins in a row and compete for playoffs( dont't say it; I know)
4. Do you expect Vick to continue to be superhuman?
5. Detroits offense is has been very good for the most part. When you consider they are 13th in the NFL is not that impressive until you take into account that their D is on the field so much. They are moving the ball when they have it. Atlanta's D is very poor without Abraham. They are ranked 18th. They have been getting rolled in the passing game, and this week will be no different.
Remember this, if there is one man you don't want to have a buy week before you if you struggle in pass defense, its Mike Martz. As bad as a Head coach as he is he is the best offensive coordinator their is.
Also Kevin Jones is playing great lately. I wouldn't expect either team to stop the other. I think the over the only good bet in this game.
Screw it put me on record as Detroit moneyline with the over.

Someone doesn't understand what "offense" means.

Although, with two Minny D TDs, McG's math is off by 1 in one direction or the other, but his point is still right.
