Default AJs UTG - monster drawn hits me on flop is check/call ok?

AJs is tough to play UTG. Figured someone had a queen on flop but with my monster draw I knew guy behind me was going to bet so I checked and then called the all in

I would limp this pf becasue bloating the pot wiht AJ OOP isnt very pleasent. on the flop its an easy fold becasue of the ammount of strength that is shown and there is no need to take that kind of risk this eary in the game

How do you know this? I would just raise when it gets to you on the flop. If you just call you set yourself up for a tricky situation on the turn if you miss. I'd have to have a very strong read that someone to act behind me was a complete maniac to just call here.

Wayyy too early to be raising with AJs UTG here.

Despite your monster draw, you're against two all-ins - some of your outs need to be discounted.

I agree, but not by much. At worst I'd take it down to a 12 out draw instead of 15-18, and at this price I'm not folding a draw that strong.

Also I don't raise this UTG here either, I either limp or fold.

Ok the limp-call line is good too I guess. On the flop no way I ever fold this. At least 12 of my outs should be good here most of the time and in any event pot offering me way too good odds to not call right?

You fold here. You shouldn't play IMO.

@DJA

i agree with 2Fast, the price is just to good,and the Raise of MP1 looks very suspicous...Why did he raise so high?! Did he wanna protect a set? if he wants to protect a flopped straigh, he is playing very poorly...a lower raise could lure in a flushdraw for a bad call. And i think we wanna let our opponents make mistakes....

Maybe i think to sophisticated, and maybe MP1 is a donkey who doesnt know how to get value out of a good hand...But with that wide range of hands (even top-Pair or a stone bluff) and so many outs, it looks like a mandatory call.

I agree with the others, that the Pfr is to loose ooP.

Very interesting.

Brunson Super System 2, pg 522, paragraph 3.

But Im not Phil, and this is a nut flush draw, not a K high flush draw, and theres money from 2 players in the pot, not just 1.

Cant see folding here. Im pushing this flop.
