Default $5 AQ early

no real reads...what's your line?

PF I think folding, raising or calling are all viable.

i dont mind the call preflop, and in a $5 i think im going broke here, this is AJ/AT just as often as AK/A9/KK+. If you were CO in this hand then id push pf.

even in a low level, youre more often against AK here then AJ/AT...if he had only 1 pair why would he c/r after raising UTG?

if he was good enough to know when to check raise why would he minraise either of these hands UTG?

this isn't bad advice at all

however - this is a FIVE....so its a regular?

I might be inclined to fold here then...just 'cuz you'll have more time with lower blinds still....meh...

Push PF with 25/50 Blinds and 1500 chips? I realize that the donk raise to 100 from UTG is often a weak hand like JT, but come on. There was a PFR and reraising AI with AQ just isnt a solid play with the blinds this low, IMO.

it is a regular so there is plenty of time, if its a turbo its a different story.

i don't think i'm shoving a UTG min raise from the CO at this blind level.

Smart. Plenty O'time to find a better spot. Especially without a read.

BTW, Im not picking on Doc. He's smart and most of his advice is very good. Maybe shoving is the right move if you are 10 tabling, I dont know. Not the move for me, though.

Im folding this Preflop, in this position, at this blind level, 80+% of the time, maybe calling 10-15%, possibly raising/pushing 5% if I have a read/or just feel like its the right move.

AQ, especially AQoff doesnt do well against most PFR's. There is a reason most top pro's avoid it like the plague when faced with a raise.

Hi everybody, this my first post...At the moment i am playing 10+1 STT...
Imo, it is a easy call at this level. If he has you beat, go broke, but there are to much donkies who even raise with nothing. I would prefer check/call down....even call an all in. I would even put this guy on KK or QQ or garbage...Almost nobody at this level can fold these hands postflop.
My experience is, that people with a monster will often flat call you or make a miniraise. This raise looks like a frustrated high pocket pair or even a flush draw semibluff-raise.
Call, but dont be happy with it. Only fold if you have a very good read on him.
To everybody: Pls criticize my comment. Maybe I am wrong, but experiance told me, that there are to many donks who raise with any ace...
