Default Borat

"Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan"

Well it actually got good reviews, rotten tomatoe, has it listed at a 95% rating, higher then any other comedy this year. I know that their has been like 5 threats on Borat in OTT the past couple weeks but I thought I might be some different responces here.

Will this movie good or what?

isn't it pretty much scriptless? I thought it was Borat going around America interacting with real people....

heh, check out the "Borat Homesite" and the my space.

There's a great review/discussion in the latest Mark Kermode podcast. He actually didn't like it, but his review makes me want to see it even more. He said he felt like a member of a different species, as he was the only person in the theater not howling

stranger things have happened. didn't Farenheit 9/11 win the writer's guild award or something?

if it's as good as the reviews say, i could see it showing up in the Oscar race and screenplay sometimes seems like a place where they put something they don't know what to do with.

But I'd assume they'd actually have to read a screenplay of some sort, or at least confirm that one exists, for a film to qualify.
